Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Quality Assurance (QA) engineer with the expertise to develop and execute both planned and exploratory tests, ensuring the utmost product quality. The role of the QA engineer encompasses the design and implementation of meticulous tests, in addition to the review of system requisites and the monitoring of quality assurance metrics such as defect densities and open defect counts.

Our ideal candidate will be entrusted with the responsibility of conducting pre-launch tests to guarantee the seamless operation of software, all while maintaining cost-effectiveness. Your Qualifications:
- Thorough examination of requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to deliver prompt and constructive feedback.
- Formulation of comprehensive, structured test cases that leave no detail unattended.
- Proficient estimation, prioritization, planning, and orchestration of testing endeavors.
- Crafting and execution of meticulously designed test cases.
- Profound identification, documentation, and tracking of bugs.
- Rigorous regression testing upon resolution of bugs.
- Development and application of testing protocols for both new and existing products.
- Active collaboration with internal teams (including developers and product managers) to discern system prerequisites.
- Ongoing monitoring of debugging process outcomes.
- Provision of UAT (User Acceptance Testing) demonstrations to the Product team.
- Vigilant monitoring and recording of quality assurance metrics, encompassing defect densities and open defect counts.
- Exceptional oral and written communication competencies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving aptitude.
Your Action Items:
- Proficient articulation of bugs/issues, along with the elucidation of their underlying causes, to developers.
- Profound grasp of Manual Testing concepts, bolstered by well-honed Manual Testing Skills.
- Adeptness in extracting pivotal test scenarios from requirements and translating them into meticulously crafted test cases.
- Capacity to perform under the constraints of tight delivery timelines.
- Competence in both autonomous work, requiring minimal oversight, and collaborative contributions within a team setting.
- Extensive experience with the Defect Life Cycle, coupled with adeptness in utilizing defect tracking tools such as JIRA.
- Skill in multitasking, prioritization, and deadline adherence.
- Proficiency in devising lucid, concise, and exhaustive test plans and test cases.
- Familiarity with performance and/or security testing, seen as a valuable asset.
- Possession of a BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related field.
