Job Description

• Cadence seeks to employ and develop individuals who are leaders and innovators in the technology industry.
• The company is looking for candidates with 0-2 years of experience in Electronics & CS branch for their Protium prototyping platforms.
• The Protium platform facilitates early software development, SoC verification, system validation, and hardware regressions for an SoC or system prototype.
• The successful candidate should possess knowledge of Verilog/System Verilog, digital design, computer architecture, programming skills in at least one language, analytical mindset, UNIX skills, and clear fundamentals about electronic design and FPGAs.
• The role is for a verification engineer in the Protium Verification team.
• The role involves using the Cloud and compute farm to run the existing verification suite, analyzing failures, benchmarking performance, reporting bugs, and creating new tests to verify newly developed functionality for the Protium FPGA Prototyping platform.
• This position provides an opportunity to build skills in writing HDL tests, using FPGAs for prototyping, UNIX, and using farms to run compute loads.
• Cadence emulation and prototyping systems offer a comprehensive IP/SoC design verification, system validation, hardware and software regressions, and early software development.
• The position is part of the Engineering Team for this solution, providing ample opportunities for skill-building and growth within the organization.
