Carrier Off Campus Hiring – Intern, Software Engineering
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with global and local teams to gather requirements for Embedded IoT products, analyze them thoroughly, and document them effectively.
- Develop embedded software by following the complete lifecycle of Embedded Software Development.
- Explore and implement cutting-edge Embedded and IoT technologies to create prototypes or proof-of-concepts (POCs) with a systematic approach.
Requirements:
- Design and develop platform drivers and Board Support Package (BSP) modules for Linux and RTOS-based connected systems.
- Implement and handle communication protocols like I2C, SPI, and MQTT.
- Create firmware optimized for low-power consumption and high efficiency.
- Identify, debug, and resolve firmware issues to ensure reliability and performance.
- Work with wireless technologies such as Zigbee, BLE Mesh, and Thread.
- Prepare detailed documentation, including design specifications, testing procedures, and user manuals for firmware development.
- Participate in code reviews, offering constructive feedback and suggestions for improvement.
