Job Description Job Purpose:
As an Associate Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing innovative software solutions in adherence to coding standards and technical designs.
Essential Functions:
- Conduct end-to-end software development, crafting well-designed, testable, and efficient code.
- Create specifications and assess operational feasibility.
- Integrate software components to build a fully operational system.
- Document and sustain software functionality.
- Customize and implement software tools, processes, and metrics.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or equivalent.
Certifications, Accreditations, Licenses:
Professional certifications are desirable.
Experience:
0-2 years of experience.
Special Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Proficient in designing interactive applications.
- Strong grasp of relational databases, SQL, etc.
- Thorough understanding of test-driven development.
- Capability to document requirements and specifications.
- Aptitude to learn and work with programming languages such as C, C++, Java, Python, .Net, etc.
- Familiarity with software development methodologies and release processes.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Supervisory Responsibility:
This position does not involve supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment:
This position is based in Chennai, Bangalore, or Gurgaon.
