Job Description
Oracle Cerner is actively seeking a new Delivery Consultant I to join their team. In this role, the Delivery Consultant I will be responsible for consulting with clients regarding their existing workflows and configurations, assessing upgrade implications, system modifications, enhancements, and ongoing system maintenance.
The role also involves specific tasks such as client-specific design, configuration, troubleshooting, and the development and execution of test plans and scripts, with a focus on documenting changes in end-user functionality.
Furthermore, the position requires the review of new defects, outlining steps for testing, and providing information for change requests while notifying clients of any pertinent updates.
In cases where issues arise, the Delivery Consultant I is responsible for identifying and escalating them to solution and engagement leadership and utilizing internal and external resources to achieve problem resolution.
During implementations, this role involves collaborating with clients to deliver customized venue configurations, testing, and training.
The working environment for this position is Hybrid & Onsite, meaning the employee will split their work time between a Cerner office or client site and remote work.
It’s important to note that if relocation is required due to the employee’s current geographical location, Cerner will not provide relocation assistance for the specified location.
Basic qualifications for this role include a minimum of four years of combined higher education and a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
While experience in the testing domain is preferred, candidates with 0-1 years of experience, including recent graduates, are encouraged to apply.
