Job Description
Position Summary:

We are currently seeking Software Engineers to join our team and contribute to product/feature development. The chosen candidates will collaborate within a team environment and undertake the responsibility of designing, developing, and supporting software specialized in various NMS/EMS layers. This involves supporting network elements using diverse technologies such as DWDM, Optical Switches, and Multi-Service edge products.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Coordinate/support release/design lead for the successful delivery of releases/features.
- Implement code in accordance with the design, ensuring adherence to project timelines and organization-wide conventions and procedures (architecture, code review, etc.). Deliver high-quality work to testing groups.
- Provide inputs in detailed design processes.
- Develop and execute unit test cases.
- Support technical leadership in diagnosing and resolving defects.
Skills:
- Strong analytical, coding, testing, and documentation skills.
- Proficiency in Object-Oriented Concepts, data structures, and algorithms.
- Knowledge of Operating system concepts.
- Understanding of Networking Concepts.
- Hands-on experience in one or more of the following: C/C++, Java/JavaScript, Python, JavaScript/HTML/CSS/JQuery, Scala. (Having completed an academic project in any of these or related areas is a plus.)
Desired Characteristics/Skills:
- Exposure to micro-service architecture using Docker and Git configuration management is a bonus.
- Familiarity with the Linux/Unix environment is an added advantage.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Independent, self-starting attitude with a commitment to meeting timelines.
- Comfortable working in a team environment.
Education:
Currently pursuing MCA or B. Tech. in Electronics and Communication, Computer Science, IT, or a similar field.
