Job Description
CODEMONK Off Campus Hiring – ML Engineer
Responsibilities:
- Develop hypotheses, design experiments, and analyze results to enhance machine learning models.
- Design, build, and maintain machine learning models with a focus on Large Language Models (LLMs), knowledge distillation, and scalability.
- Collaborate to advance the field of machine learning by creating Small Language Models and leveraging knowledge distillation.
- Apply best practices in software development, including coding, code reviews, testing, and maintenance.
- Stay updated on the latest machine learning frameworks and methodologies relevant to domain-specific applications.
- Partner with founders and early customers to understand challenges and develop solutions to support growth strategies.
- Conduct research and experimentation to explore new techniques, algorithms, and technologies that drive innovation and competitive advantage.
- Collect, clean, pre-process, and analyze large datasets to extract meaningful insights for model training and evaluation.
- Document methodologies, processes, and findings. Communicate results and insights effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Work with cross-functional teams to integrate machine learning models into cloud-based infrastructure and full-stack development projects.
Preferred Experience:
- Strong foundation and practical experience with machine learning algorithms, frameworks, and libraries, particularly in areas such as Artificial Neural Networks (ANNs), XGBoost, Large Language Models, and Natural Language Processing (NLP).
- Background in computer science with expertise in software development practices (e.g., version control, peer reviews) and proficiency in programming languages relevant to machine learning, such as Python.
- Knowledge of cloud infrastructure and full-stack development to support end-to-end machine learning model deployment.
- Experience with Google AI products, such as VertexAI.
Bonus Experience:
- Demonstrated success in implementing ANNs and/or LLMs in enterprise environments.
- Experience working in deep tech companies focused on developing novel intellectual property and cutting-edge technologies.
- Strong background in machine learning research with a track record of publications and contributions to the field.
- PhD in any AI-related discipline.
