Job Description

Comcast is currently seeking a Development Engineer to join our team!

Candidate Responsibilities:

• Strategize and conceptualize new software and web applications
• Execute programming tasks, implementing, testing, and debugging specific software components
• Review, write, and edit code for software development
• Conduct analysis to identify integration requirements
• Research, write, and edit technical documentation, including software design evaluation plans, test results, and technical manuals
• Evaluate competitive applications and products, staying informed about industry developments
• Review literature, patents, and current practices relevant to assigned projects
• Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to ensure applications meet specifications and technical requirements
• Apply engineering methodologies to the specified engineering specialty
• Demonstrate knowledge of engineering concepts and proficiency in applying them to the designated engineering area
• Utilize process design and redesign skills effectively
• Exercise independent judgment and discretion in significant matters
• Maintain regular, consistent, and punctual attendance
