Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a strong grasp of Pega frameworks for different industries and gain hands-on experience in a subset of them.
  • Familiarize yourself with the Pega Applications platform.
  • Possess the PCSA (PEGA Certified Systems Architect) certification; PCSSA (Pega Certified Senior System Architect) certification on Pega version 7.x or 8.x is preferred.
  • Demonstrate familiarity with ITIL practices, including Incident, Change, Problem, Release, and Deployment Management.
  • Collaborate with the team on application enhancements, releases, and deployments.
  • Create and maintain Application Runbooks and other relevant documentation.
  • Utilize tools such as Octopus/Team City, Share Point, and Confluence.
  • Proficiently manage ticketing tools like Jira, My Service, and Service Now.
  • Showcase exceptional customer interface skills.
  • Exhibit strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Display meticulous attention to detail and exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Quickly distinguish issues stemming from hardware, operating systems software, and application programs.
  • Grasp the severity and criticality of issues and prioritize them accordingly.
  • Collaborate with other dependent teams to devise solutions for encountered issues.
  • Undertake additional tasks as assigned by your manager, within your capabilities. (Note: All tasks must align with internal Bank policies and external regulatory requirements).

Role-Specific Responsibilities:

Service Management

  • Ensure that all initiatives fulfill the minimum requirements of the Service Management process.
  • Serve as a liaison between customers, IT&T vendors, service providers, and system owners.
  • Function as an escalation point for Business and IT Service providers.
  • Represent Business customers from an IT&T perspective in meetings and teleconferences.
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for Infrastructure vendors and ITSMO in delivering Incident Management and Service Request services.
  • Engage with Business customers and relevant projects to integrate new applications into suitable support models.

Incident/Problem Management

  • Minimize the duration and impact of high-priority incidents and ensure accurate priority ratings.
  • Reduce the volume of high-priority incidents.
  • Mitigate the recurrence of high-priority incidents.
  • Assign appropriate priority ratings to problems and corrective actions.
  • Facilitate problem resolution with service providers.
  • Conduct Problem Reviews with Service Owners and System Managers.

Change and Configuration Management

  • Coordinate major change and release activities.
  • Identify and address issues and risks associated with Changes and Releases.
  • Conduct Post-Implementation Reviews (PIRs) for unsuccessful Changes.
  • Ensure that all change records meet internal and external audit requirements.
  • Oversee the review and correction of Configuration Item (CI) inaccuracies.
  • Conduct CI audits.
  • Provide CMDB support for major projects.
  • Offer process-specific guidance to Configuration Librarians and Service Owners.
  • Monitor and maintain Configuration Librarian access to CMDB.
