Continental – Graduate Engineer Trainee
Graduate Engineer Trainee: Maintenance
Your Responsibilities:
- Oversee and coordinate the maintenance engineering operations of the plant or unit.
- Ensure the maintenance system operates effectively as outlined in S-09.
- Achieve maintenance targets that meet both internal and external customer expectations.
- Lead projects aimed at enhancing equipment availability and reducing downtime.
- Implement continuous improvement activities using CBS methods and training initiatives.
- Collaborate with various functions and locations to share and integrate knowledge.
- Coordinate periodic overhauls of critical equipment to support quality and production systems.
- Work with external service providers and suppliers for spare parts, AMCs, and other services.
- Conduct frequent downtime analyses using systematic processes and tools, and implement solutions with the team.
Your Profile:
- A university degree in BE/BTech (Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or a similar field).
- Approximately 1 year of relevant experience.

- Oversee and coordinate the maintenance of Material Handling Equipment (MHE).
- Initiate and manage continuous learning and training programs for employees in collaboration with plant HR.
- Monitor and report maintenance performance metrics (e.g., downtime, MTTR, MTBF, energy consumption).
- Implement measures to enhance operational and manufacturing engineering performance.
- Standardize spare parts and manage SAP coding for accurate stock maintenance.
- Generate and maintain necessary documentation for TS, ISO, and other quality standards.
- Manage and coordinate 5S activities in the responsible area.
- Plan and execute safety-related installations and maintenance in the supply chain.
