Job Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience is typically required for network testing positions.
- A Bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering or a related field is preferred.
- Zero or more years of network testing experience is required.
- Experience working with computer systems and their uses is important.
- Experience working with network management and protocol system testing is highly desired.
- Experience working with scripting languages such as TCL, PERL, HP, etc. is important.
- Experience working with data transmission protocols such as TCP/IP, etc. is crucial.
- Experience working with operating systems is necessary.
- Experience working with network equipment such as switches, routers, firewalls, intrusion detection systems, etc. is essential.
