About the Role:
Enphase is seeking a proactive and enthusiastic Associate Engineer to support its engineering services operations. This position involves close collaboration with the Cloud Development, Product Management, and Customer Support teams to investigate and resolve technical issues related to software systems and connected cloud devices. The ideal candidate will possess strong debugging skills and a basic understanding of software development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and troubleshoot critical incidents to determine root causes
- Lead cross-functional bridge calls during high-impact incidents and ensure timely resolution
- Identify opportunities for automation and improve existing processes
- Respond to service requests from various internal teams within strict service level agreements (SLAs)
- Manage and support production environments for multiple cloud-based applications
- Develop and maintain scalable infrastructure for field firmware upgrades and execute firmware deployment to end devices
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree (BE/BTech) in Computer Science or a related field from a reputed engineering institute
- 0–2 years of experience in a technically challenging environment
- Hands-on experience with incident management and root cause analysis
- Proficiency in Linux/Unix operating systems
- Strong scripting abilities in Ruby, Shell, or Python
- Solid understanding of database querying (PL/SQL) with experience in at least one database (MySQL, SQL Server, or Oracle)
- Experience with data analytics platforms such as Incorta or Amazon QuickSight
- Familiarity with AWS cloud services and infrastructure
- Basic knowledge of programming languages like Java or Ruby on Rails
- Exposure to software development tools and practices, including Git/Bitbucket, Jira, and Confluence
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact across multiple teams
- Collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively with diverse teams
- Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate challenges constructively
