Position: Junior Software Engineer (Trainee)
Overview

As a Junior Software Engineer (Trainee), you will participate in a rigorous five-month training program that prepares you to design and develop modern, high-performance software systems. Upon successful completion, you will join EPAM as a full-time software engineer.
Key Responsibilities
As a Junior Software Engineer, your role will include:
- Designing and developing reliable, scalable, and high-quality software applications.
- Creating and maintaining automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, Cypress, or Playwright.
- Participating in all stages of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)—from requirement analysis and coding to testing and deployment.
- Writing clean, efficient, and reusable code to build robust applications and services.
- Automating routine processes using industry-standard frameworks and scripting methods.
- Conducting code reviews, debugging, and performance testing to enhance stability and security.
- Performing validation and verification testing for production readiness.
- Collaborating with QA, DevOps, and product teams to deliver seamless and user-focused solutions.
- Keeping up with new technologies and contributing to process optimization and performance improvements.
Requirements
- Strong foundation in Computer Science concepts such as Data Structures, Algorithms, and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
- Proficiency in at least one modern programming language.
- Basic understanding of SQL and database fundamentals.
- Familiarity with Git or other version control systems and build automation tools.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.

- Flexibility to work from any EPAM India office after training completion.
Compensation
- Training Stipend: ₹27,500 per month
- Full-time Salary (Post-Training): ₹8 LPA
Eligibility Criteria
Academic Qualifications:
- Minimum 70% aggregate in BE/B.Tech (CSE/IT) or MCA
- Minimum 60% marks in both 10th and 12th grades
- Graduation Year: 2025
- No active backlogs
Education Gaps:
- No gap between 10th and 12th grades
- A maximum one-year gap permitted between 12th and graduation
