Job Description
EY – Assurance – Staff – Data Analytics
As a member of the EY-Assurance Team, this role is crucial in making individual contributions and adding value to complex reporting tasks that aid various internal and external stakeholders in developing a deeper understanding of their respective markets, functional practices, and other internal clients.
The opportunity
We are seeking an incumbent who will be accountable for reviewing deliverables and ensuring the achievement of quality and productivity targets.
Your key responsibilities
- Analyze large volumes of data and develop a clear strategy for assurance analytical work.
- Collaborate effectively in a multicultural environment as a team player.
- Possess knowledge of different aspects of auditing and correlate raw data with audit-related analytics.
- Collaborate closely with the Global Assurance team, providing support in conceptualizing ideas, strategies, and frameworks.
- Extract data from multiple sources by understanding data structure requirements.
- Apply industry knowledge to interpret data and enhance performance.

To qualify for the role, you must have
- Graduates with 0-3 years of relevant experience are preferred.
- Candidates with a degree in B.E., B.Tech, M.Com, B.Com, BSc (Computer Science), or MSc (Computer Science), and acumen in analytics/data analysis or reporting.
Ideally, you’ll also have
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel and SQL, along with familiarity with business intelligence tools such as Tableau, SAS, and Spotfire.
- Interest in business and commerciality.
