Primary Responsibilities
- Contribute actively to the software development lifecycle by designing, implementing, and maintaining application features along with creating automated tests (unit, component, integration, and functional).
- Lead and participate in technical discussions, helping the team reach consensus and guiding decisions when there are differing viewpoints.
- Apply your expertise to influence sound software design, encourage engineering best practices, and embed strategies for testing, security, and defect prevention.
- Deliver high-quality, efficient, and scalable solutions.
- Collaborate with supervisors to plan work items, estimate timelines, and meet project goals.
- Adapt to evolving project or business needs while guiding peers through change effectively.
- Communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in written documentation.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of systems, customers, and organizational objectives.
Required Skills and Expertise
- Strong professional experience in web development using ASP.NET MVC and React.js.
- Solid understanding of software design patterns.
- Proficiency in C#, ASP.NET Web Forms, ASP.NET MVC, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Hands-on knowledge of SOAP and REST APIs (WCF, Web API).
- Strong background in relational databases (SQL Server).
- Experience with Windows environments and IIS.
- Ability to work effectively with legacy systems and codebases.
- Proven expertise in Agile methodologies (Scrum, TDD, pair programming, code reviews, refactoring techniques).
- Proficiency with development tools such as Visual Studio, PowerShell, Bitbucket (Git), Jira, Confluence, Roundhouse, Octopus Deploy, and ReSharper.

- Contribute across disciplines by assisting with documentation, design, and testing as needed.
