What You’ll Do:

During each rotation, you’ll be placed in engineering teams, supporting a variety of activities, including:

  • Participating in software design meetings, analyzing user needs to determine technical requirements.
  • Conducting technical design, systems analysis, coding, and unit and integration testing of changes to existing applications.
  • Creating Unit Tests to increase overall system test coverage.
  • Supporting and enhancing Nightly Build Automations.
  • Interacting with internal stakeholders to deliver technology solutions.
  • Being an active team player in an agile development environment.
  • Maintaining existing features/modules.
  • Interpreting internal/external business challenges and recommending design solutions or best practices to improve products, processes, or services.

Rotation pathways depend on factors such as your career interests, development needs, location, and business demands. Upon completion of the FINStarter program, you’ll have the opportunity to align yourself with a specific area of our business based on your interests, capabilities, and business requirements.

What You’ll Need:

  • A desire to learn and grow professionally across various functions within the firm.
  • Knowledge in Business, Computer Science, Electrical/Computer/Software Engineering, Mathematics, or related disciplines.
  • Familiarity with various coding languages is a plus (e.g., HTML/HTML5, JavaScript, JQuery, CSS, XML, WCF, ASP.NET MVC, XSLT, Windows Services, MSMQ, AngularJS 2, ASP.NET Web API, BootStrap, TypeScript, GIT, Kentico).
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Curiosity and comfort with ambiguity.
  • Flexibility and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work in a virtual environment as needed.
