Responsibilities
Job Role:
Demonstrate a strong understanding of software engineering processes encompassing design, coding, and testing. Capable of working effectively with minimal supervision. Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. Contribute across all phases of the software development lifecycle. Architect, develop, and sustain high-volume, low-latency Java-based applications. Analyze user requirements to articulate business objectives. Define application objectives and desired functionality. Create, test, and maintain software. Identify and effectively resolve any arising technical issues. Generate comprehensive design documentation. Suggest improvements to the existing Java infrastructure. Create technical designs for application development. Write well-structured, testable code. Perform software analysis, programming, testing, and debugging. Oversee Java and Java EE application development. Produce documentation to aid users. Prepare and execute software component releases.
Key Skills:
Proficiency in Java and AngularJS, with a deep understanding of their respective ecosystems. Ability to write easily understandable, clean Java code. Skill in developing reusable Java libraries. Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) Patterns and Concepts. Familiarity with diverse design and architectural patterns. Extensive knowledge in Java and J2EE. Expertise in Core Java. Proficiency in Servlets, JDBC, and exception handling. Experience in Spring, XMLBeans, Web Services, XML, XSD, Oracle, WebSphere/WebLogic/JBoss. Strong analytical and logical skills.
Preferred:
- Highly preferred: Knowledge of GPP and/or Payments domain.
- CoreJava, JavaScript, JSP, Tag Library, XSLT, Servlets.
