Job Summary: In order to bolster our exceptional teams dedicated to crafting outstanding products and driving our expansion, we are seeking to welcome a Junior Engineer – GBS Engineering to our ranks in Chennai.
A Glimpse into a Regular Day:
- Proficiency in engaging with Clients/Suppliers across various nations.
- Effective coordination with multiple teams in executing Environmental Compliance tasks.
- Active collaboration within the team.
- Taking on the responsibility of accumulating, assessing, and archiving component-related data pertinent to Environmental Compliance through Assent Compliance Management.
- Stringent adherence to established processes, avoiding any deviations.
- Engagement with numerous clients or suppliers to fulfill distinct Environmental Regulatory prerequisites.
- Delivering necessary training to suppliers regarding Environmental Compliance necessities as per customer specifications.
- Providing support to the organization during regulatory, internal, and third-party audits.
- Managing alterations in regulations within ACM, predicting risk factors for impacted components, and notifying the Product Environment Compliance team promptly.
- Participation in scheduled or impromptu meetings involving Site, Field Engineering, and Customers on a weekly, monthly, or as-needed basis.
- Possession of electronics acumen.
- Data entry of part lists, Manufacturer contacts, and Compliance particulars into the Windchill Product Analytics tool.
- Gathering, evaluating, and archiving component-related information concerning environmental compliance.
- Supplying reports and guidance pertaining to requested Compliance information or reports.
- Interaction with manufacturers situated in America, Europe, and Asia for the acquisition of environmental declarations.
- Offering support to supplier engineers, collaborating with suppliers, commodity management, procurement, and design engineering to ensure compliance with environmental standards.
- Willingness to accommodate night shifts.
The Expertise We Desire in Our Team:
- B.E / B. Tech (Chemical\ EEE\ ECE\Mechanical)/MSc in Electronics/Chemistry /Environmental Science.
- Role as an Individual Contributor (0 – 2 years’ experience).
- Proficiency in both verbal and written communication.
- Familiarity with fundamental Office Tools such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, among others.
