Job Description
FlowServe Off Campus Hiring 2025 – Engineer
Responsibilities:
- Evaluates proposals for projects and capital equipment, prepares justifications, submits expenditure requests, procures and installs equipment, and ensures intended outcomes are met.
- Collaborates closely with Manufacturing Supervisors to support and achieve Flowserve’s strategic goals.
- Identifies and obtains production materials that enhance efficiency and reduce expenses.
- Ensures CNC programs are readily available to meet new product introductions and customer demands.
- Contributes to employee development by supporting training efforts focused on CNC programming and tooling flexibility.
- Guarantees that appropriate tooling and fixtures are accessible to fulfill production requirements.
- Diagnoses and resolves issues with processes and equipment to avoid production delays.
- Aids in creating the annual profit and manufacturing strategic plans. Monitors the progress and budget status of assigned capital projects to ensure they are completed on time and within cost limits.
- Stays informed on advancements in machining technologies, tooling solutions, and manufacturing methods. Recommends innovative applications to improve productivity and quality when applicable.
- Aligns with company objectives and completes tasks as delegated by management.
- Ensures compliance with OSHA standards by verifying that tooling, fixtures, and processes meet safety regulations.
- Supports Flowserve’s environmental commitments by maintaining compliance with relevant environmental standards and ensuring subcontractors follow these policies.
- Exhibits strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
- Maintains professionalism and respect when interacting with colleagues and customers.
- Performs other related duties as required.
Requirements:
- Ability to understand and apply technical information, including interpreting mathematical data and diagrams, and managing both abstract and practical problems.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or 0–2 years of relevant professional experience.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
- Demonstrated success in reducing costs in a manufacturing setting through Continuous Improvement practices.
- Background in manufacturing operations.
- Competence in interpreting technical documents such as safety guidelines, engineering blueprints, and maintenance manuals.
- Capable of writing standard and technical communication clearly.
- Skilled in delivering presentations to groups including customers and team members.
- Understanding of complex mathematics including geometry, trigonometry, algebra, and statistical analysis.
- Strong analytical skills for identifying issues, gathering and analyzing data, and drawing logical conclusions.
