Job Description

Join Our Team as an SDE II – DevOps!

We’re on the lookout for an SDE II – DevOps to enhance our Engineering Team. This team is responsible for building products used by over 10 million Fynd users and internal teams. We are a group of versatile engineers developing modern websites (SPA & Isomorphic), mobile apps for Android & iOS, REST APIs and servers, internal tools, and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Automate Everything: Streamline our operational processes with precision while adhering to security protocols.
  • Cloud Infrastructure: Gather and assess cloud infrastructure requirements, explore options, and devise solutions.
  • Development: Specify, document, and develop new product features, and write automation scripts.
  • Process Improvement: Update and design new operational processes as required.
  • Kubernetes Management: Handle multiple self-managed Kubernetes Clusters across different clouds.
  • Proactive Troubleshooting: Actively resolve issues during testing and production to prevent problems before launch.
  • CI/CD Maintenance: Maintain stable and efficient CI/CD pipelines.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Proficiency in GCP
  • Expertise in at least two programming languages, including Python (other options: Node.js, Go, Shell)
  • Working knowledge of Terraform and Ansible
  • Experience with web servers and proxies (Nginx, Apache)
  • Containerization experience with Docker/Kubernetes
  • Familiarity with the security aspects of cloud services and Kubernetes
  • Knowledge of cloud-native monitoring tools like Prometheus and Grafana
  • Proficient in code, build, and release management using GIT and Jenkins
  • Basic understanding of Azure
  • Experience with distributed tracing and APM tools
  • Experience managing logging infrastructure stacks like ELK at scale
  • Knowledge of distributed messaging/task queues like Kafka
  • Basic understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, MySQL)
