What will you be doing?
You’ll collaborate with colleagues across three continents, all of whom are passionate about creating exceptional software, building a strong team, and delivering outstanding customer experiences.
This role involves working with large-scale data, tackling challenges that come with billions of data points, and utilizing cutting-edge technologies. You’ll join a team that combines the innovative spirit of a start-up with the resources and reach of a global leader to drive ambitious growth initiatives.
The back-end engineering team plays a critical role in the success of our product. Their work involves processing and organizing vast amounts of unique data to enable users to access and analyze it effectively.
We are seeking a skilled and driven Java engineer to contribute to some of our most exciting and complex projects as we continue to expand our team.
What do you need to succeed?
- A degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
- Strong familiarity with Linux systems.
- Knowledge of microservice architecture, including API design and implementation.
- A detail-oriented mindset with a habit of double-checking your work.
- A willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
- Proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
Preferred qualifications (nice-to-haves):
- Experience with stream processing tools such as Spark, Flink, or similar platforms.
- Familiarity with AWS Data Engineering services like Glue, EMR, etc.
- Programming experience in Java and/or Python.
