Job Description

Genpact is seeking candidates for the position of AM – SQL Developer. The responsibilities of the candidate include:

1. Develop SQL queries for efficient data retrieval and manipulation, focusing on performance tuning, query optimization, and database setup and configuration.
2. Design and implement database solutions based on business requirements.
3. Create, maintain, and optimize Views/Tables using Join techniques, datatypes, and functions to effectively manage complex data.
4. Develop and manage technical documentation, including data models, procedures, and guidelines.
5. Design, execute, and monitor data processes to ensure correctness and accuracy.
6. Develop models and tools for pricing decisions and strategies.
7. Monitor pricing performance across regions and product lines, troubleshooting and resolving database issues promptly.
8. Generate pricing analysis reports and present findings to senior management.
9. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data-related needs and provide effective solutions.
10. Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in database development.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
2. Significant experience as a SQL Developer or in a similar role, including expertise in pricing analysis and/or sales analytics.
3. Strong knowledge of database administration, design, and normalization procedures.
