Job Description
We are in search of a Java developer to enhance functionality in the GRADE application, addressing existing issues and ensuring seamless performance. The ideal candidate should possess the ability to comprehend requirements, propose designs, and implement features. Proficiency in working with both new and existing codebases for data models, workflows, and rules is crucial. Familiarity with leasing and lending concepts, practices, and procedures is highly advantageous. The role demands reliance on extensive experience and judgment to effectively plan and achieve goals. The tasks include:
- Effective communication with Business Analysts to analyze requirements.
- Synthesizing and modeling business requirements with existing and new application functionality for evolving business needs.
- Developing enhancements to the existing GRADE model, rules, and workflows, and integrating new modules.
- Facilitating meetings with other members of the engineering teams.
- Providing development and support to the Sales Team during product demos.
- Supporting the infrastructure team in enhancing the core infrastructure.
Qualifications:
Minimum qualifications:
- B.Tech / MCA or equivalent.
- Strong Java design and development skills.
- Proficiency in PostGres/SQL.
- Working knowledge of Hibernate (or JPA2) ORM.
- Familiarity with the Spring Framework.
- Experience with XML, Webservices.
- Experience with any MVC framework (JSF preferred).
- Proficiency in HTML /JavaScript.
- Familiarity with Tomcat / Jboss AS 7 (or similar J2EE App server).
- Experience with Eclipse IDE.
- Proficiency in Maven builds.
- Relevant years of experience in Software Development.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience working with workflows (BPMN + JBPM5).
- Familiarity with Drools Rules Management System.
- Experience with Java Server Faces.
- Familiarity with any Templating library (preferably Mvel).
- Good understanding of Cloud technologies and AWS.
- Experience with RESTful service architecture.
- Understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
- Experience in SCRUM or other Agile methodologies.
