Job Description
Summary:
This role involves working throughout the software development life cycle, creating, designing, coding, debugging, testing, implementing and validating applications. The candidate should have a broad understanding of various languages and architectures and should analyze existing applications or formulate logic for new applications. They will maintain and utilize application and programming documents, recommend changes in development and maintenance standards, and create appropriate deliverables and application implementation plans in a flexible development environment.
Key Points:
- Develops basic code using front or back end programming language within a platform as directed for internal and external client software solutions.
- Assists with basic application documentation, testing, and validation as directed.
- Applies a basic understanding of procedures, methodology, and application standards, including Payment Card Industry (PCI) security compliance.
- Requires a BE/B. Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business / Management Information Systems or related field, with no experience required.
- Preferred qualifications include professional experience in coding, designing, developing, and analyzing data.
- Desired skills include familiarity with Agile/Waterfall SDLC workflow, sound analytical/logical reasoning skills, and sound written/verbal/oral communication skills.
- Candidates with basic knowledge in any technology (C, C++, Java, Mainframes, Cobol) will be preferred.
