Job Description
Goldman Sachs is actively seeking candidates for the position of Software Engineer – Associate.
Candidate Responsibilities:
- Develop web-based applications aimed at streamlining the user experience.
- Analyze, design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise applications and batch software solutions.
- Comprehend business requirements, facilitating and developing process workflows, data specifications, and necessary documentation for implementation.
- Participate in the creation of technical specifications, high-level/detailed design, and contribute to test and implementation plans.
- Provide support to users by troubleshooting issues, offering workarounds, and escalating problems to technology management when necessary.
- Possess proficiency in Java and/or other object-oriented languages.
Candidate Requirements:
- Possess a fundamental understanding of Web services and Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA).
- Demonstrate experience with relational databases, specifically Oracle and Sybase.
- Have hands-on experience and a solid understanding of cloud infrastructure, particularly AWS.
