Minimum Eligibility
- The job requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- The candidate should have experience working with Linux (Red Hat, Slackware, Fedora, SUSE, Ubuntu, Debian, Gentoo), Unix (Solaris, AIX, HP-UX, BSD), or other similar OS.
- The ideal candidate should have experience troubleshooting hardware and/or network issues using Linux tools.
Preferred Expertise
- Possesses experience and understanding of hardware architecture, maintenance, and repair.
- Demonstrates strong knowledge of networking technology, including topology and protocols.
- Exhibits excellent Linux skills, which include installation, systems administration, and troubleshooting.
- Displays exceptional teamwork and communication skills.
- Has the ability to speak and write English fluently.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Perform complex troubleshooting to resolve technical issues.
- Test and troubleshoot new server hardware components and designs.
- Contribute to and lead efforts or projects related to deployment, maintenance, and support of current and new data center infrastructure.
- Install servers, switches, routers, and other networking equipment, and resolve issues related to broken equipment.
- Fulfill on-call responsibilities when necessary.
