GroundTruth Off Campus Hiring – Associate Software Engineer, Data Engineering
Role Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain data pipelines for the GroundTruth platform.
- Construct the infrastructure needed for efficient extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) of data from various sources using SQL and AWS big data technologies.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including Product, Analytics, and Client Services teams, to address technical data issues and support infrastructure requirements.
- Draft detailed specifications and low-level designs.
- Participate in code reviews and conduct controlled testing before product deployment.
- Provide post-launch application maintenance.
- Contribute innovative ideas to enhance the location platform.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field (e.g., Tech., M.Tech., MCA).
- 0-3 years of experience in Data Engineering.
- Proficiency with AWS Data Engineering tools such as EC2, S3, Athena, Redshift, EMR, ECS, Lambda, and Step Functions.
- Experience with Hadoop, MapReduce, Pig, Spark, and Glue.
- Strong Python skills for orchestrating data pipelines and Data Engineering tasks.
- Expertise in writing analytical SQL queries.
- Experience with Airflow, Docker, and Git.
Additional Skills
- Knowledge of REST APIs.
