Job Description – HBC – Trainee – Analyst Investigation

The role involves investigating corporate environments and business operations to uncover potential misconduct, fraud, or retail theft involving employees, customers, or other individuals. The objective is to identify and report any unethical behavior or employee misconduct with meticulous attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

  • Adhering to our business code and consistently demonstrating integrity and diligence.
  • Mitigating payment fraud by identifying suspicious transactions and reporting questionable employee conduct.
  • Differentiating between high-risk and legitimate transactions to streamline checks and reduce workload.
  • Detecting employee involvement in fraudulent activities to prevent significant retail losses.
  • Ensuring product integrity is maintained throughout transactions.
  • Multitasking effectively and communicating within the team and with North American leadership or law enforcement.
  • Analyzing patterns and deriving assumptions, then presenting recommendations and findings in regular senior leadership meetings.
  • Responding promptly with clear, professional email communication.
  • Producing comprehensive investigation reports addressing findings for leadership.
  • Understanding technical issues with surveillance cameras and promptly reporting to leaders.
  • Working independently and collaboratively to complete investigations promptly.
