Job Description
Position Summary:
The Associate for Item Setup plays a crucial role in ensuring an exceptional customer shopping experience by executing online merchandising and product information strategies for multiple categories of business within the Digital Item Lifecycle teams. This position focuses on maintaining a high standard of category merchandising that aligns with the overall site merchandising strategy. The Associate is responsible for the accurate and timely setup and production of all products and assortments.

Qualifications:
- Take ownership of designated categories of business, aiming to achieve accuracy targets, reduce NOS (not on site) inventory, and ensure compliance with Go Live dates and Time to site SLAs.
- Ensure proper categorization of products, placing them in relevant categories on the website to optimize sales.
- Serve as the liaison between buyers, E-commerce team members, digital lifecycle teams, and studio teams to address item setup-related issues.
- Responsible for item setup, categorization, and brand merchandising for multiple business areas. This includes setting up new items, determining their appropriate placement in web folders for optimal exposure, and ensuring timely publication. Also responsible for identifying and addressing quality center defects and items not available in the Warehouse. Send items for select vendor approval when necessary.
- Perform daily sign-off on website publication, conducting thorough quality assurance checks for designated categories of responsibility and any featured products.
- Develop training materials and product guides as needed, meticulously documenting all processes and procedures.
- Collaborate with Site Operations to identify and implement process efficiencies for enhanced refinement automation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Understanding of the retail e-commerce landscape.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent writing, speaking, and presentation abilities.
- Preference for candidates with at least 1 year of experience in e-commerce or retail site merchandising.
