Job Description

Day in the Life:

Saks Cloud Services is seeking Analysts (Java Developers) who are highly proficient programmers with expertise in supporting financial portal applications developed in Java.

Java Developers play a crucial role in analyzing user requirements and business objectives, determining application features and functionality, and suggesting modifications to existing Java-based applications, among other responsibilities. They are required to compile comprehensive technical documentation and user assistance materials, emphasizing the need for strong written communication skills.

What you will do:

Provide support and implement Java-based applications.
Analyze user requirements to guide application design.
Debug and resolve technical issues as they arise.
Generate detailed design documentation.
Recommend changes to the existing Java infrastructure.
Debug logs generated (JAVA, JSP, HTML).
Execute complex SQL queries.
Manage the deployment process.
Possess basic knowledge of external applications like EBS, Fusion, and RFS.
Demonstrate business knowledge on VA, SMF, MMVA, and AP enquiries, including understanding the process flow for each category.

Who you are:

Hold a degree in Computer Science or a related field.
Have experience in user interface design, database structures, and statistical analyses.
Possess an analytical mindset and strong problem-solving skills.
Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrate good organizational skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
