Job Description
Join IBM for the exciting opportunity of a Software Engineer role!
Candidate Responsibilities:
- Resolving reported issues by debugging, designing, developing, and conducting unit tests for code fixes.
- Utilizing programming languages aligned with the product, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of the environment for effective code testing.
- Recognizing and communicating the effects on other product components.
- Engaging directly with clients through conference calls or on-site visits.
- Offering client insights and feedback on the client environment to the development team responsible for current and future product development.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in C programming for 1-2 years.
- Experience with UNIX or Windows for 1-2 years, particularly in system internals.
- 1-2 years of database experience in Oracle, Db2, or MS SQL Server.
- 1-2 years of Java programming (for the Java client).
- Familiarity with Microsoft ASP (for IDM Desktop).
- Demonstrated experience in product software development.
- Providing Customer Support for ECM Software products: troubleshooting, problem identification, log analysis, tracing, software diagnostics, defect fixing, testing, incident management, and customer communication.
