Job Description
Your Role and Responsibilities:
We are seeking individuals with experience in business and technology consulting to configure and implement SaaS solutions for our clients. Consultants play a crucial role as integrators between business requirements and technological solutions. Your contributions will directly influence the value realized by the client and the overall success of the relationship. In this role, close collaboration with customers and the Apptio Field Delivery team is essential for designing and configuring customer solutions. Required Technical and Professional Expertise:
- Support and maintain customers who have implemented the Apptio SaaS solution, resolving issues in a timely manner.
- Manage client operations, including tasks such as loading new data, maintaining and validating dashboard/report outputs, etc.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, striving for the highest level of customer satisfaction.
- Work collaboratively within our extended support team in a startup atmosphere, going above and beyond to exceed customer expectations.
- Apply business and technical analysis skills, along with knowledge of IT environments, to address complex issues and advocate for best practices.
- Collaborate with other company departments to ensure customer satisfaction.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise:
- Apply knowledge and concepts of relational databases.
- Possess basic programming skills and an understanding of web development (e.g., Ruby on Rails, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, SQL).
- Have experience with Cloud computing platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
- Demonstrate proficiency in working with large datasets in Excel, quickly identifying and resolving data-related issues.
- Excel at technical design through iterative mockups.
- Possess specific knowledge and application of IT services and financial management, including budgeting, cost allocations, handling capital and operating expenses, program portfolio management, and application/infrastructure support.
- Exhibit operational knowledge of IT infrastructure domains, encompassing data centers, network/communications, server utilization, virtual environments, storage, and application development and maintenance.
- Showcase strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrate proficiency in data analysis and manipulation.
- Exhibit the ability to quickly comprehend complex spreadsheets/data and streamline underlying processes into the Apptio solution, with expertise in formulaic logic (e.g., Excel).
- Be a self-starter capable of grasping complex concepts with minimal assistance.
- Possess the ability to context-switch rapidly between multiple complex work streams.
- Demonstrate an instinctive ability to break down problems into basic components to efficiently identify the root cause of issues.
- Adopt a client-focused attitude, acting as a customer advocate.
- Be a team player with solid communication and presentation skills.
