Job Title: Backend Integration Engineer
Objective: The Backend Integration Engineer will be responsible for creating and managing solutions that link multiple systems, applications, and services. The role involves collaborating with diverse teams to ensure seamless data interaction and smooth interoperability across different parts of our technology infrastructure.
Job Responsibilities:
- System Integration: Design and build integration strategies connecting backend systems, services, and applications.
- API Development: Create and maintain APIs for seamless communication between various systems.
- Data Management: Oversee the efficient transfer, transformation, and storage of data in integrated systems.
- Security Implementation: Apply security protocols in integration processes, ensuring API security, data encryption, and compliance with security standards.
- Troubleshooting and Debugging: Identify and fix integration problems to ensure system stability and performance.
- Team Collaboration: Partner with software developers, front-end engineers, DevOps teams, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth integration and deployment.
- Documentation: Develop and maintain detailed documentation for integration workflows, APIs, and system architecture.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance integration strategies and processes.
- Testing & Validation: Create and implement test plans to ensure the reliability and accuracy of integrated systems.
Required Skills:
- Experience: 0-3 years of hands-on experience with backend development technologies, including Java, Spring Boot, MongoDB, MySQL, Docker, and containers.
- Security Best Practices: In-depth knowledge of security protocols and practices relevant to system integration, such as OAuth, JWT, SSL/TLS, and data encryption.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with a focus on delivering effective solutions.
- Accountability: A strong sense of ownership and responsibility towards project outcomes.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Teamwork: Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
Desired Skills:
- Experience with third-party service integration, APIs, or system integration projects.
- Understanding of microservices architecture.
- Experience with version control tools like Git.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps methodologies.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus.
