IQVIA – Trainee Software Engineer
Job Summary
Support the development and maintenance of clinical systems by providing technical assistance as a team member. Contribute to the creation and management of databases for use at local, regional, or international levels.
Key Responsibilities
- Help in the design, testing, and documentation of databases, following established programming and validation standards.
- Participate in the planning, design, and support of clinical database systems, including their implementation and ongoing maintenance.
- Assist with data transfers and database modifications for both internal teams and external clients.
- Support IT teams in evaluating system upgrades or new technology solutions.
- Follow standard operating procedures and comply with internal guidelines.
- Achieve assigned objectives and collaborate with project teams on timelines, tasks, and deliverables.
- Maintain clear communication and strong working relationships with the Clinical Data Management team.
Qualifications
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent, along with at least 3 years of relevant experience, or a comparable mix of education and professional background.
- Basic understanding of relational databases (preferred).
- Strong organizational and communication abilities.
- Detail-oriented with a flexible and responsible approach to work.
- Capable of building effective working relationships with peers, leadership, and clients.
