Job Description

Job Role: Associate Software Engineer

As an Associate Software Engineer, you will be involved in every stage of the software development lifecycle, from coding and testing to documentation and delivery. The role requires ensuring that software solutions meet quality standards, maintaining proper documentation, and contributing to agile practices through active participation in scrum activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gain a solid understanding of the entire software development lifecycle.
  • Develop, test, and document software applications.
  • Debug and maintain existing code to resolve errors and improve functionality.
  • Deliver reliable and high-quality software products that align with user requirements and standards.
  • Design and execute test cases for functional, integration, performance, and usability testing.
  • Enhance documentation for processes and systems.
  • Actively participate in agile workflows, including all scrum ceremonies.

Note: A 30-day notice period is preferred.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong foundation in programming concepts such as data structures, object-oriented design, n-tier architecture, and unit testing.
  • Experience in writing unit tests and debugging applications.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and collaborative development tools (e.g., version control, issue tracking).
  • Basic understanding of Atom architecture principles, emphasizing scalability, flexibility, stability, and simplicity.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Exposure to front-end and/or back-end technologies like HTML, CSS, Angular, React, Node.js, .NET, Java, Salesforce (Apex, Visualforce, Lightning), JavaScript, Shell scripting, or Python.
  • Knowledge of software design principles, including modularization and object-oriented programming.
