Job Description
The Konecranes Automation Platform team is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automation software and HMI interfaces used in crane control systems. These automation solutions are deployed across various crane products manufactured by Konecranes.
As an Automation Trainee Engineer, you will support the development, testing, and maintenance of automation code and HMI applications while working closely with experienced engineers and R&D teams.
What We Expect from You
- Proficiency in English with the ability to read, write, and communicate effectively
- Basic computer skills, including working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools
- Familiarity with industrial PLC systems, particularly Siemens TIA Portal
- Exposure to high-level programming languages such as C++, Python, or similar
- Strong collaboration skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Sound decision-making and problem-solving abilities
- Enthusiasm for learning new technologies and processes, especially in collaboration with R&D teams
- Basic awareness of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards
Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)
- Understanding of Konecranes crane systems and products
- Familiarity with Konecranes internal IT systems
