Job Description
We are seeking an Analyst/Executive to join our EDD team. In this role, you will collaborate with a group of analysts and executives to manage projects for international KPMG teams and clients. Your primary tasks will involve:
- Conducting Integrity Due Diligence, Counterparty Due Diligence, and Senior Management Due Diligence checks to evaluate reputation, regulatory, and jurisdictional risks for clients.
- Researching using various online sources, including commercial registries and corporate databases in multiple countries and languages.
- Translating and summarizing information from different languages into concise, accurate English reports.
- Delivering time-sensitive and pertinent reports to clients by leveraging the above skills effectively.
Job Requirements
Required Skills
- Proficient in secondary research techniques.
- Basic understanding of accounting and financial statements.
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks, corporate structures, complex ownership breakdowns, and external research.
- Experience with OFAC & negative news screening databases (e.g., LexisNexis, World Check, Dow Jones, Google News) and corporate registries.
- Ability to translate and summarize foreign language content into clear, accurate English.
Preferred Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce.
- 0-1 year of relevant experience in a similar role, preferably in professional services firms, third-party KPOs, or internal research/strategy teams within technology companies.
- Capable of working independently with appropriate supervision from Team Lead/Assistant Manager/Manager.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail and adaptability in dynamic environments with shifting priorities and tight deadlines.
- Resilience and drive to overcome challenges and achieve team/project/client objectives.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate personal integrity.
- Strong work ethic and commitment to delivering high-quality service.
- Proficiency in a foreign language is a plus.
