Job Description
As the Junior QA Tester, your role encompasses testing games, identifying and documenting bugs, and ensuring timely issue resolution. Collaboration with Designers, Artists, and Programmers is integral to enhance the overall gaming experience by proposing improvements. Reporting to our Lead QA, you play a pivotal role in delivering a polished and enjoyable gaming experience.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with team members to test specific video game titles.
- Thoroughly test all games to detect issues before release.
- Generate detailed bug reports, including precise descriptions, reproducible steps, and severity ratings.
- Document issues in a bug database and coordinate with the development team for resolution.
- Collaborate with Designers, Artists, and Programmers to suggest enhancements and modifications.
Requirements:
- Strong critical thinking skills to identify game issues and bugs.
- Excellent communication skills (English) to articulate issues clearly and concisely.
- Methodical, scientific, and analytical mindset.
- Familiarity with PC, Console, and Mobile Platforms hardware and software.
- Passion for gaming.
- Proficiency in using spreadsheets, MS Office, PC, and internet.
- Ability to work effectively in a team.
- Adaptability to changes in project requirements and schedules, including shift rotations.
