Position: Apprentice
Experience: 0–1 year
Location: Chennai, Tamil Nadu (CHN)
Overview:
We are looking for a Data Science Apprentice with up to one year of experience to support our analytics team. The role involves assisting in data collection, cleaning, and preprocessing of both structured and unstructured data. You will work on exploratory data analysis to uncover key patterns and insights, and help in building and testing statistical and machine learning models under the guidance of senior data scientists. Additionally, you will contribute to developing dashboards and visual reports, collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project objectives, and maintain proper documentation of all analytical processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform exploratory data analysis to identify insights, trends, and anomalies that support business decisions.
- Assist in developing and validating statistical models and machine learning algorithms with senior team members.
- Design clear and effective data visualizations and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Contribute to the creation and maintenance of dashboards and analytical tools.
- Keep abreast of emerging tools, technologies, and best practices in data science, and ensure proper documentation for reproducibility.
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in Data Science, Python, and SQL.
- Familiarity with Machine Learning and Deep Learning algorithms.
- Hands-on experience or knowledge of PySpark, Power BI, and Generative AI (GenAI) tools.
