Responsibilities
The Responsibilities of an Intern at MathWorks include receiving a combination of practical experience and training in a work environment that encourages and rewards cooperation, teamwork, learning, and enjoyment.
Upon completion of training on MathWorks development processes and tools, Interns are expected to work collaboratively with a development team on implementing new features such as algorithms or UIs for future releases of over 90 products.
Alternatively, Interns may also be required to contribute to the development of automated tests to verify that features in MATLAB are working as designed.
This internship provides valuable preparation for a future career at MathWorks, particularly in their Engineering Development Group (EDG).
Educational Qualifications
To meet the minimum qualifications for this position, candidates must possess at least a bachelor’s degree.
Additionally, applicants should be available for a 2/3/6-month full-time commitment and have a degree in computer science or other engineering streams.
Strong programming skills are also required. Experience or knowledge of MATLAB is considered a plus.
