Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and conduct unit testing for Java applications and services.
• Resolve intricate business and technical challenges using established development methodologies.
• Participate in agile activities such as sprint planning and technical design reviews, offering input as needed.
• Implement best practices for generating maintainable code, encompassing usability patterns, adherence to coding standards, integration, testing, and code review.
• Collaborate with global Engineering, Product, and Release teams as required.

Qualifications:

• 0-2 years of experience as a Java backend developer utilizing Java, Spring, and an ORM framework (e.g., Hibernate).
• Proficiency in Java 8, Kafka, SQL, REST, and relational databases (e.g., Oracle).
• Strong grasp of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and SOLID design principles.
• Preferred hands-on experience with the BI tool Sisense and knowledge of data warehousing.
• Familiarity with SCRUM/Agile delivery methodologies.
• Effective interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work with minimal oversight.
