Job Responsibilities
Test Solutions Engineer
Join the Micron Module Test Engineering team, located in Micron Gujarat, India, and contribute to the development of test programs for all Micron Module products.
Responsibilities:
- Design innovative test programs for the initial silicon validation of new products and technology startups. Provide crucial feedback for refining device quality and performance to the relevant groups.
- Develop and maintain test programs for Micron Module products, aligning with customers’ specifications, device performance characterization needs, and analysis of customer returns.
- Optimize test programs by implementing more efficient testing methods to reduce product test times and manufacturing costs.
- Automate the test process by creating software scripts to enhance work efficiency.
- Improve test coverage to ensure outstanding outgoing quality and customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with product/equipment engineering departments to enhance overall product yield and develop customizations from available test solutions to maximize Return on Investment (ROI).
- Work closely with test capacity and manufacturing departments to achieve output goals.
- Develop and monitor process and engineering metrics to ensure the stability, efficiency, and effectiveness of test processes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Computer Engineering, or any related engineering field.
- Strong programming skills; knowledge of C/C++ is an added advantage.
- Solid analytical problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Familiarity with semiconductor device physics is an added advantage.
- Knowledge of the Unix/Linux environment is a plus.
