Your Role
You will join as a Graduate Engineer Trainee.
About the Team
You will become part of Molex – GES.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand and address customer requests while independently working on 3D modeling, 2D drawing creation, and CAD data migration to PDM systems.
- Plan, prioritize, and execute projects while solving challenges and ensuring timely reporting of objectives.
- Provide comprehensive CAD services to customers, tailored to their specific requirements.
- Attend customer meetings or calls to regularly update project progress.
- Ensure the quality and timely delivery of project outputs while adhering to deadlines.
- Pursue professional growth to develop technical expertise.
- Actively participate in project team meetings, both formal and informal.
- Follow the PBM philosophy and its guiding principles in day-to-day tasks.
- Convert legacy 2D data to 3D models, create engineering/product specifications, and manage engineering documents.
- Perform any additional tasks as assigned by your supervisor.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Industrial Production/Industrial Management).
- Fundamental understanding of the NX CAD tool and PLM systems like ECTR/Teamcenter.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
Preferred Skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders to enhance value.
- Self-motivated to acquire knowledge independently and share insights with the team.
- A mindset focused on continuous improvement to benefit the organization and team.
- Hands-on experience with NX CAD and a solid foundation in technical skills.
- Familiarity with PLM tools such as Teamcenter, ECTR, or similar platforms.
- Strong understanding of GD&T and its practical applications.
- Analytical problem-solving skills using systematic methods like cause-and-effect analysis.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Aptitude for grasping complex technical concepts.
- Knowledge of additional CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD) and office tools (e.g., Power BI) is advantageous.
