Molex Off Campus Hiring – Trainee, Trade & Customs
Your Key Responsibilities
- Assign appropriate Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) or Commodity Codes to Molex products.
- Conduct Denial Party Screenings for Molex’s business partners.
- Classify Molex’s commodities, software, and technology using Export Control Classification Numbers (ECCNs), following regulations from the Bureau of Industry and Security’s Commerce Control List (CCL) as well as applicable laws in the EU and Asia-Pacific regions.
- Maintain and update classification data in SAP-GTS, ensuring tasks are completed within set turnaround times.
- Ensure the accuracy of classification and value information submitted to customs, maintaining compliance with relevant government laws and regulations.
- Investigate and resolve classification discrepancies, providing documented justification to customs authorities promptly.
- Develop and manage a centralized database of global HTS codes, ECCNs, and applicable duties/taxes for all products.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.

- Proficient in Microsoft Excel; knowledge of Power Automate and Power BI is a plus.

Your Role and Responsibilities
- Proactively monitor the health and performance of networks, servers, and applications across Molex manufacturing facilities using a variety of monitoring platforms.
- Act as the initial point of contact for system alerts or performance issues, performing basic troubleshooting and resolution.
- Forward complex technical problems to Level 2 or Level 3 support teams when necessary.
- Keep thorough and accurate records of network incidents, system changes, and resolutions.
- Work closely with IT and engineering departments to identify areas for improvement and implement system optimizations.

Your Background (Basic Qualifications)
