Job Description
Molex Off Campus Hiring – Graduate Engineer Trainee
Responsibilities
- Take responsibility for designing, modifying, and maintaining software components used in product testing and qualification throughout the product lifecycle in development and manufacturing settings.
- Develop intermediate-level software primarily in Python and TCL/TK, enhancing the functionality of existing testing systems across various manufacturing regions. This includes coordinating development efforts with cross-functional teams such as product development, manufacturing, marketing, and quality assurance.
- Conduct electrical testing on high-speed cable assemblies, analyze collected data to identify quality-critical aspects in product design and manufacturing, perform root cause analysis, and compile reports summarizing the findings.
- Develop and execute test plans, perform software reviews, validate system functionality, analyze and troubleshoot failure modes, and thoroughly document test results.
- Adhere to and contribute towards quality and environmental management systems by following approved procedures and policies.
- Generate documentation for products and test systems, including specifications and operational guidelines.
- Utilize software engineering tools like version control systems, build tools, and debuggers as part of the development process.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Computer Science Engineering.
