Job Title: Graduate Engineer Trainee

Role Overview:
As a Graduate Engineer Trainee, you will be responsible for supporting design and development activities using CAD software, ensuring compliance with engineering standards, and contributing to various aspects of product development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize CAD tools such as NX, SolidWorks, or Creo at a basic to intermediate level.
- Identify and implement risk mitigation strategies and testing plans using dFMEA and pFMEA.
- Design assembly and testing fixtures to enhance manufacturing and product evaluation.
- Prepare detailed part and assembly drawings following ASME Y14.5, ISO 1101, or other relevant design standards.
- Document design modifications and customer approvals through Engineering Change Orders (ECOs).
- Conduct engineering tests to verify component performance against mechanical specifications.
- Select appropriate materials for plastic, metal, and elastomeric components interacting with the product.
- Perform additional tasks as required.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree (BE/B.Tech) in Mechanical Design, Mechanical Engineering, or Mechatronics.
- Strong academic performance from a recognized institution.
- Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).
- Proficiency in creating complex 3D CAD models (solid and surface) and 2D drawings.
- Familiarity with various material types used in engineering applications.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to evaluate and recommend appropriate prototyping techniques such as SLA, 3D printing, machining, and molding.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality regarding customers, projects, and company operations.
