Job Description

Role/Responsibilities:

  • The individual will have a vital role within the Ratings and Research Support team (RRS), offering comprehensive data and process support.
  • Responsible for sourcing, extracting, validating, and updating data and other pertinent information.
  • Key responsibilities include understanding dataset requirements, gathering data from diverse sources, and ensuring appropriate adjustments before updating relevant tools, templates, internal databases, files, and spreadsheets.
  • Regular collaboration with other teams to obtain data from Moody’s internal tools, shared information, and company reports.
  • Identifying and researching data issues, exceptions, and discrepancies, escalating when necessary and diligently following up for resolution.
  • Proficiently downloading information, files, links, etc., from websites and internal databases.
  • Providing regular updates on workflow status or summaries as required by the process.

Qualifications:

  • Possession of a Bachelor’s Degree in business, finance, management, or a related field.
  • 0-2 years of experience in business, financial data, and Excel-based processes, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills.
  • Sound knowledge of financial statements and financial terminology.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, along with excellent interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft programs, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and a proven ability to complete processes accurately.
  • Quick adaptability and a capacity to confidently follow processes without constant quality checks.
  • Flexibility in handling unexpected changes in commitments and deadlines, with the ability to prioritize tasks accordingly.
  • Competence in managing and prioritizing high volumes of workload.
  • Resourcefulness and proactivity, consistently seeking opportunities to enhance processes, teams, and the work environment.
  • Strong motivation to provide a superior level of service.
