Job Title: Trainee Technician – Premium Processing
Reporting To: Premium Processing Team Leader
Direct Reports: None
Job Level: Entry Level (Level 1)
Location: Pune (Hybrid model – up to 50% remote)
Hiring Organization: Mrald (A specialized UK Insurance operations unit under Mphasis)
Role Summary
This position supports the daily operational tasks of the Premium Processing (PP) team. The goal is to maintain a high standard of service while meeting performance targets such as Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). The trainee will be responsible for completing assigned tasks accurately and within established timelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete assigned premium processing tasks with precision and within deadlines.
- Escalate issues to Senior Technicians when assistance is required.
- Actively participate in personal development and accept constructive feedback.
- Support the team in achieving service delivery targets and quality benchmarks.
- Follow all internal compliance, risk, and audit requirements.
- Successfully complete all training and evaluation modules assigned by the Compliance and Training teams.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
- Basic understanding of the insurance sector and its business importance.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team setting.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Willingness and ability to learn quickly.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous exposure to the financial services sector, preferably in insurance.
