Onity Off Campus Hiring 2025 – Intern, Reporting and Analytics
Position Summary:
The intern will be responsible for developing technical solutions to business challenges by preparing and analyzing reports for different business units. This role involves identifying project or process requirements, documenting them effectively, and ensuring clear communication with stakeholders. The Business Analyst intern will also assist in implementing efficient data strategies and optimizing reporting processes.
Job Functions and Responsibilities:
- Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports from multiple databases.
- Verify the accuracy and integrity of generated data and reports.
- Ensure timely preparation and submission of reports.
- Write and optimize SQL queries and procedures based on business requirements.
- Automate reporting processes to enhance efficiency and reduce turnaround time.
- Handle mass transactions or updates as requested by the business, adhering to timelines.
- Independently manage assigned projects and other deliverables.
- Identify and design process improvements to support business operations.
- Troubleshoot data and reporting issues, collaborating with internal teams and other departments for quick resolution.
- Maintain and enhance existing databases, tables, and tools.
- Document technical procedures and workflows.
- Prepare reporting summaries and presentations for senior management review.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant analytical discipline such as Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, Mathematics, Accounting, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Familiarity with Business Intelligence tools, data warehousing, SQL, and MIS reporting is desirable.
Required Skills:
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in writing PL/SQL procedures and understanding algorithms.
- Experience working with relational databases and data management concepts.
- Exposure to Visual Basic, Python, or MS Access is advantageous.
- Technical writing skills will be an added benefit.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
