Technical Support Engineers play a crucial role in providing services to PayPal merchants, developers, and internal teams. This position requires strong leadership and adaptability to build robust relationships across the organization.

Your way to impact:

The Global Professional Services Organization seeks a Technical Support Engineer with a technical understanding of PayPal’s products. This role involves analyzing and resolving live technical and integration issues, contributing to the support of merchants, developers, and internal teams.

Your day-to-day:

This role involves significant interaction with merchants, internal stakeholders, and engineering teams through e-ticketing, email, and phone support. Identifying irregularities and unexpected behaviors in PayPal products and services. Installing and configuring payment APIs and commerce products. Communicating technical issues to PayPal merchants and internal departments. Diagnosing issues related to APIs, code, services, and network connectivity. Supporting software involved in merchant payment processing. Assisting in the onboarding of merchants with a payment processing solution. Collaborating on team projects. Developing in-depth technical documents for distribution to PayPal merchants. No travel is required.

What do you need to bring:

Passion and understanding of technology, spanning hardware, software, and emerging technologies. A willingness to embrace the unknown and ask critical questions (curiosity, motivation, risk-taking in a supportive environment). Comfort with change and agility, particularly in supporting an evolving product suite. Collaboration with internal and external partners for effective problem-solving. University Graduate Position Information and Requirements:
