Roles and Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with a cohesive team of engineers and Product managers to develop features and functionalities aimed at enhancing customer satisfaction.
- Construct comprehensive systems that underpin the health insurance platform, encompassing payments, onboarding, claims, and integrations.
- Implement solutions focused on high observability, performance enhancement, and mitigation of bottlenecks across both application and infrastructure layers.
- Engage actively in design discussions, conduct code reviews, mentor new team members, participate in technical interviews, and contribute to team expansion efforts.
Experience and Qualifications:
- 0-1 years of practical experience in backend development using Node.js, demonstrating proficiency in constructing scalable backend architectures encompassing databases, middleware, and APIs.
- Solid foundation in computer science and engineering principles including concurrency, multithreading, data structures, solution design, architecture, and design patterns.
- Strong analytical skills paired with effective time management abilities.
- Demonstrates initiative in project ownership, from inception to delivery, involving proposal, deliberation, and execution.
- Self-motivated, independent worker with excellent organizational skills.
- Essential experience includes maintaining a production-grade open-source project, preferably built from the ground up.
