Job Role & Responsibilities

  • Install and configure CodeBeamer software and database.
  • Test system functionalities and business processes.
  • Migrate data and deploy the CodeBeamer system.
  • Administer and maintain the CodeBeamer system with performance tuning capabilities.
  • Handle helpdesk and support CodeBeamer application users for tickets.
  • Provide support during upgrades and enhancements planned on the CodeBeamer application.
  • Guide users and other IT staff on CodeBeamer application and functional specifications.
  • Understand project requirements and provide support for installation, configuration, and release processes.
  • Assist in project implementation and development of project plans, specification documents, and test plans.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners, Leads, Administrators, and business teams to understand business and functional requirements.
  • Document test cases and perform systems and acceptance testing.
  • Troubleshoot production issues that may arise when projects are released.
  • Attend and participate in project and administrative meetings.

Basic Qualifications

  • The basic qualification required is a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or an equivalent degree in Information Technology/Computer Science.
  • The candidate should have a minimum of 1-3 years of experience in providing technical and operational support for the CodeBeamer application.
  • The candidate should be flexible and available to provide support during weekends for patch updates and deployments.
  • The candidate should possess excellent analytical and creative problem-solving skills and be self-directed.
  • Strong communication skills, including verbal, written, and interpersonal, are necessary for this role.
  • The candidate should be able to effectively prioritize and execute tasks while working under pressure.
  • The ability to consider aspects such as monitoring, logging, and performance to be standard, in addition to solving the business problem, is essential for the role.
  • The candidate should thrive in a fast-paced environment with multiple project assignments.
  • Being a good team player and having flexibility with working hours to collaborate with counterparts is important.

Preferred Qualification

  • The candidate should have experience and working knowledge of CodeBeamer systems administration, which includes application and database installations.
  • Providing Codebeamer support for application runtime issues, integration troubleshooting, and other requests as needed should be a part of the candidate’s skills.
  • It is preferable if the candidate has experience with other related tools such as PTC Integrity, JIRA, Azure DevOps, and ALM Quality Center.
  • The candidate should be capable of resolving Codebeamer ALM technical issues, primarily working with the project team and end-users as a primary contact.
  • The candidate should have knowledge of Codebeamer integrations with other tools.
  • The candidate should understand the business and stakeholders’ needs and build solutions collaboratively with the global IT support team.
  • Assisting in the design, implementation, and deployment of new projects using existing project templates is also one of the preferred qualifications.
