Introduction and Job Overview:
As an Associate Software Engineer, your role will involve maintaining existing software solutions and contributing to the development of new features for the Data Integrity Suite. You will work within a collaborative team environment, designing and developing enterprise-level Java applications. This role will require close collaboration with architects, product managers, and fellow developers to deliver high-quality features that meet business requirements.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Develop and maintain applications using Java.
- Participate in Agile practices, including effort estimation, design/code reviews, and team ceremonies.
- Explore and integrate new technologies into current and future frameworks and solutions.
- Contribute to and lead technical design discussions, offering and receiving constructive feedback.
- Enhance code quality and address non-functional requirements, such as performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Diagnose and resolve software defects.
- Write and execute unit and integration tests.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including QA, UX, Product Management, and Customer Support.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- 0–2 years of experience in Java application development.
- Proficiency in Java programming.
- Familiarity with SQL Server databases.
- Knowledge of Object-Oriented design principles.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Spring Boot and Hibernate.
